Dr. Maria Geraga

Dr. Maria Geraga is a professor of Archaeological Oceanography at the Geology Department of the University of Patras, Greece and one of the main members of Oceanus-Lab.

Her research interests cover a broad range of topics in marine sciences. Her main interests involve marine geoarchaeology, palaeoceanography, paleoclimatology, marine geology, marine pollution and marine habitat mapping.

She has published a plethora of scientific papers, with more than 2,000 citations (h-index: 25).
