Portable Bruker S1 TITAN 500 Handheld XRF Spectrometer:
The Portable Bruker S1 TITAN 500 Handheld XRF Spectrometer is utilized in association with the Sector of General, Marine Geology & Geodynamics of Department of Geology, University of Patras. It employs energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy (EDXRF) with a Rh target X-ray tube (maximum parameters: 40 kV, 90 µA, 4 W) and a 10 mm² graphene window Silicon Drift Detector (SDD) with a typical resolution of 179 eV, capable of measuring samples at temperatures up to 500°C. The spectrometer can analyze elemental contents from MgO to U using the GeoExploration calibration, covering trace and major concentration ranges in parts per million (ppm).
